The Solterra uses two electric motors that produce a combined 215 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. In addition to this robust performance, the Solterra also comes standard with Subaru Symmetrical all-wheel drive, giving you excellent traction on even the toughest driving surfaces in Silver Spring. The Solterra also comes standard with four drive modes: Eco, Normal, Power, and X-mode. X-mode is optimized for off-roading and activates Hill Ascent and Descent Assist, which let you tailor your traction to match the terrain, improving your stability and giving you more control.

Design

The Solterra is impressively designed inside and out. The exterior of the Solterra is simultaneously futuristic yet unmistakably a Subaru. With its bold angles and intense front fascia, the Solterra makes a memorable first impression, while the two-tone color scheme is reminiscent of exciting Subaru off-roading models like the Outback Wilderness. The Solterra also boasts a low load height, and a standard Power Rear Gate makes it easier than ever to pack luggage into the back of the vehicle.
